A discussion about love

A discussion about love Today I came across a post on Xiaohongshu (Rednote) discussing how men express love, and it got me thinking. Boys tend to show love in a quieter, more reserved way. This may be because, from an early age, they imitate their fathers and watch how they behave. In East Asian culture, the father figure stands for dignity, reliability and composure — someone the family can trust; he is expected to be rational rather than emotional. Mothers, on the other hand, are usually more attentive to their children's worries and feelings. As a result, when boys grow up, they are often reluctant to share their emotions with their girlfriends, mistaking this silence for steadiness. Yet this habit tends to create problems in relationships: men handle everything alone, their partners are kept in the dark, and their sense of security gradually fades. To be continued.
